Diana was born in Italy and her wholelife passion is dancing. She started studying ballet at the age of 8 and practiced it for a couple of years, learning the logical side of music and dance interpretation. Then, following the example of her parents, she dedicated to learn italian popular and traditional dances for many years.
In the following years, thanks to the internet and her extreme curiosity and passion towards everything concerning to music, she discovered latin and caribbean dances. So, at the age of 12, she began to learn salsa, merengue, bachata and reggaeton seeing videos through the internet and dancing with latin people during her trips to Latin America.
Later, an event changed her life. At the age of 18 she met her husband, a dominican, who introduced her to the dominican community of the city where they lived. That was the moment Diana felt in love with authentic dominican bachata, and she improved her authentic dominican style dancing with her husband and their dominican friends dancing in the streets of many cities of the North of Italy. While graduating in informational engineering, she also started to work in many italian discos teaching and performing side by side with dominican and cuban dancers radicated in Italy.
Now, Diana lives in Dominican Republic. She thinks that, first of all, dancing is playing music with the body, feeling and interpreting the rythm and, the most important, having fun.
